Control how Power Scraper Pro fetches metadata from online sources.
API Keys
TMDB API Key
- Required for metadata fetching
- Get your free key at themoviedb.org
- Click Validate to test the connection
Fanart.tv API Key
- Optional but recommended for extended artwork
- Get your key at fanart.tv
- Enables clearlogo, clearart, banner, disc art, and more
Language
Choose the language for metadata:
- Affects plot descriptions, titles, and some artwork
- TMDB provides translations for major languages
- Falls back to English if translation unavailable
Include Adult Content
- Off (default): Adult content is filtered from search results
- On: All content appears in search results
Collection Settings
Collection Artwork Folder
Where to save collection-specific artwork (posters, fanart for franchises):
- Default:
~/Movies/Collections/
- Can be any folder you choose
Download Collection Artwork
- On: Automatically download artwork when collection is detected
- Off: Skip collection artwork
Auto-Check Collection Completeness
- On: Automatically check which movies you’re missing from collections
- Off: Only check completeness on demand
Trailer Settings
Enable Trailers
- On: Fetch YouTube trailer URLs from TMDB
- Off: Skip trailer information
Trailer URLs are embedded in NFO files. Kodi can play them directly using YouTube add-ons.
Scraping Behavior
Concurrent Downloads
How many items to scrape simultaneously:
- Range: 1-10
- Default: 3
- Higher values are faster but use more bandwidth
Auto-Download Artwork
- On: Automatically download all enabled artwork types
- Off: Fetch metadata only, download artwork manually
If you have a slow internet connection, reduce concurrent downloads to 1-2 to prevent timeouts.
