# Notification Settings

Control how Power Scraper Pro keeps you informed.

## Notification Types

### Scraping Notifications

| Notification      | Default | Description                      |
| ----------------- | ------- | -------------------------------- |
| Scraping Started  | On      | Alert when batch scraping begins |
| Scraping Progress | On      | Periodic progress updates        |
| Scraping Complete | On      | Alert when scraping finishes     |
| Scraping Errors   | On      | Alert when errors occur          |

### Watch Folder Notifications

| Notification         | Default | Description                       |
| -------------------- | ------- | --------------------------------- |
| New Media Detected   | On      | Alert when new files are found    |
| Auto-Scrape Complete | On      | Alert when auto-scraping finishes |

## Progress Updates

### Progress Notification Interval

How often to show progress during scraping:

* **Range**: Every 10-100 items
* **Default**: Every 25 items
* Set higher for large libraries to reduce notification noise

## Sound

### Play Sound on Completion

* **On**: Play a sound when major operations complete
* **Off**: Silent notifications only

### Sound Type

Choose notification sound:

* System default
* Custom sounds available

## Dock Badge

### Show Progress in Dock

* **On**: Dock icon shows scraping progress
* **Off**: No dock badge

### Badge Style

* **Count**: Shows number of items remaining
* **Percentage**: Shows completion percentage

## Do Not Disturb

Power Scraper Pro respects macOS Focus modes:

* Notifications are suppressed during Do Not Disturb
* Operations continue normally in the background
